These boots are made for walking

(Ok, the title might be cliche and my webcam picture isn't the best, but I will improve. Just to let you know.)


Last night I had a dream that while walking to class, my favorite pair of shoes fell apart, they broke up into little pieces, as if they were glass. I don't remember the rest of the dream, I think I walked the rest of the way in just my socks. So when it came time to put on my shoes this morning I was really on the fence about wearing the ones in my dream. The sole of the left shoe is already coming off a bit, but I just didn't think my black oxfords would be suitable because I was already wearing 75% black, so I sucked it up and put on my favorite shoes and guess what! They didn't fall into a million pieces and I got a few compliments on my outfit. (ok, just from my best friend, but still sort of counts.) Today was good for me.

First Time's the Charm

Yes, it is of my dog. My first few sketches are most likely going to be my dog. It's an easy subject, because she's very lazy and only moves every few hours. And I also like the fact that she is big so I can get practice on showing mass with lines.

Next post will probably be a outfit post. Hopefully, probably.
